Openfire Portal Inaccessible and Unable to Send Live Alerts

Overview

You are unable to access the Openfire Portal. You are also unable to send LiveAlerts.

Solution

  1. Opening the task manager on the servers reveals a process consuming a lot of CPU

  2. End the high resource consuming process 
  3. Restart OpenFire
